This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

About David Mittner
I currently live in Mesa, Arizona. I, however, was born and bred in the rolling hills of western Pennsylvania. My father, who was an avid railfan himself, spoon fed his sons the love he had for the Pennsylvania Railroad and other local roadnames. Would have never thought this was painted in acrylics - you've mastered the medium. I thought it was painted in oils. Superb, and a favorite for me.

Hello David, I must say Bravo! I think your work is outstanding. I have always loved trains since I was a little boy, and I am partial to Steam Locomotives. Currently I reside in southern CA and commute via Metrolink lines. The Trains have it! More and more people are leaving their autos at home riding commuter trains here. Here's to the Rails! Steven
